From improving your fitness and nutrition to enhancing your spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and other dimensions of wellness, our customized approach will meet you where you are—and take you places you never thought you could go.

Nearly 80% of Westerwood residents actively engage in our senior fitness classes and programming, and it’s easy to understand why. 

Our full-time, certified personal trainer is specially trained in senior fitness and will help develop a plan based on your fitness level. You’ll also learn proper form that will help you avoid injuries and get the most out of every class or workout.

Our programs and classes will help you develop the strength, balance and flexibility you need to prevent falls and make everyday tasks like reaching for high shelves, getting dressed and walking on uneven terrain easier and safer.

From dumbbells and stretching bands to cardio equipment and weight machines specially designed for seniors, our fitness center is ready when you are. And if you’re intimidated by weight machines, don’t be—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Our wide range of wildly popular classes is based on your likes and abilities, and our fitness director has a gift for making them fun and spontaneous.
